In my years of Having creative little adventures I have met some pretty amazing people along the way. Some I have done art collaborations with, others I have just admired from afar, and I have even gotten the opportunity to receive compliments from some of my most adored.
If anyone wants to ask me three years ago that I was going to meet Kim Roundtree from oborocharms who I have been admiring since I was a kid going on deviant art for the first time, Or that I was going to meet Shing yin khor Who’s characters I have become obsessed with over the past year, and actually get the chance to Give her a hug, I would have said they were crazy.
If anyone was to tell me that some of my closest and best friends to this day were going to be some of the most creative people I will ever meet in my life And that we all get together as much as we can to spread the creativity and help each other out, Or even that I will keep meeting more and more of my creative heroes Every year, then I would’ve said that they were crazy.
I wouldn’t have believed any of it because about three years ago, I came very close to giving up on everything. Three years ago I didn’t see a future or anything to go towards. But just when I was going to give up, three years ago I met the love of my life who changed everything. Three years ago I was given new strength and inspiration to go forward with old dreams. And three years ago I started over so that I can have a better future.
Some people say that they wish they could go back in time and change things that happened to them back then so that they could forget about their hurtful past. I myself used to be one of them. But looking back on everything that is happened to me these past three years and all the adventures that came along with them. I have to say that if I did go back it would only be to tell my past self that everything is looking up kid.
I hope you all find that special inspiration that fuels Your creative spirit. And for those of you who think you haven’t found it yet well let me tell you one thing, things will start to look up kid.
